I purchased this Apple MagSafe 2 power adapter for use with my 2014 MacBook Pro Retina. While in a perfect world it is up to Amazon to due proper due diligence and inspect the items they receive as returns, it is also up to us as consumers and customers to make sure that we get what we pay for and that what we receive matches the listing that led us to purchase it. They do cost more, but you can always be assured that the quality of the unit will be top-notch. When it comes to Apple chargers, proper Apple OEM units are really the only way to go.
